Rachel enjoys running at speeds of 1000mph and takes on challenges with a “yes” mentality. After graduating from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, she quickly found her niche in experience marketing and comes with a nine year proven track record of success. Previously working with brands like Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Magneti Marelli, Harman, General Motors, Pernod Ricard, and McDonald’s, she understands the needs of varying brand initiatives and that no detail is too small. She thrives on building rapport, problem solving, and the fast-paced experiential marketing environment.
John has spent his entire adult life working “behind the scenes” of both theatre and film. At one time he was the technical director and later producer of a local children’s theatre group. Early on, he partnered with two others to create “Alternative Light”. This began a career of working with some of the most recognizable names both in live theatre and popular music. In 1997, Alternative Light was sold to TLS Productions, Inc., where he continues to stay active within the company and its respective industry.
Elizabeth has been a part of the entertainment industry since a young age and she has a wide range of experience. Some professional positions held include: Production Manager, Rigging Supervisor, Assistant Technical Director, as well as General Manager of a construction company. After receiving her BFA in Theater Management from Longwood University in VA, New York became home before settling in California. Elizabeth has freelanced for TLS Productions, Inc. in the past on major auto shows and now she returns as Production Coordinator located on the West Coast.
Miriam came to TLSP with 15 years of retail management experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an HR Major. She has worked for several small businesses providing operations support to senior staff. She left PepsiCo Beverage Company to join TLS Productions, Inc. in the fall of 2016. Miriam coordinates labor & facility management, travel & lodging among other responsibilities.
Chief Executive Officer of TLS Productions, Inc., with over 35 years experience in the entertainment, lighting & production industry; Brad worked with local musical acts as he started out his career, then worked on national & international tours and industrial markets as electrician, master electrician, crew chief, stage manager and production manager before coming to TLS Productions, Inc. in 1997. Since then, Brad has been a pivotal element for the growth and success of the company.
Aaron has over 15 years of experience in theater, dance, and industrial lighting production. After Graduating with a BFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he’s carried many positions at TLS Productions, Inc., from lead lighting tech to rental and sales manager to purchasing and gear sourcing. Aaron claims, “there are very few people in the rental lighting and production industry that don’t know me.”
Carl has been involved in the special event production and entertainment industries for nearly two decades – bringing experience, creativity, and education to the table. Carl is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, and also possesses a Masters of Business Administration in Management from Florida Institute of Technology; Carl also attended Oxford University for a portion of his MBA coursework.
Michael has over seven years of experience with TLS Productions, Inc. Michael’s education includes a double major in Telecommunications & Film / Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University. He also has a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts / Painting from Wayne State University. Michael is also an adjunct professor and has taught art related courses at the college level. Michael uses his creative abilities on a daily basis for problem solving, troubleshooting, and working as a team member to continue to make TLSP a thriving company within the industry.
With over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry, Tim offers a wide background to the TLS Productions, Inc. team. Over the years he has worked with a number of touring artists and large corporate events around the world. Tim has also taken on the task of Production Management and Site Operations for some of the top festivals in America as well as heading up the sales team for a major truss manufacturer in the U.S.
Li has more than 15 years of experience in corporate accounting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Beijing Post and Telecommunications Engineering University. She held positions as a hardware engineer and a data base developer before taking a position with TLS Productions, Inc. in 2003. She currently handles sales & use tax, payroll tax, pension and bank compliance along with managing accounts payable for TLSP.
Chris has been with TLS Productions, Inc. since 2014. Chris’s experience includes over seven years at Washtenaw Community College as Video Conference Technician in conjunction with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters construction supervision program. Chris worked several years for the City of Ann Arbor Community Television Network as a production assistant on various in-studio and in-field productions. He was also the Network Assistant Programmer for Channel 19 CitiTV and Channel 16 GovTV, providing coverage and production for City of Ann Arbor Public Meetings.
Doyle graduated with a BFA in Theatre Design from the University of Texas, he has designed a wide range of lighting projects over the last 3 decades and has provided lighting designs ranging from outdoor environments to the UN Economics Convention, lighting for Grammy Award winning musical groups and Fortune 500 companies. As Director of Design Services, Doyle manages all aspects of design for TLS Productions, Inc.’s various projects.
President of TLS Productions, Inc., he received his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University with a degree in Technical Theater; and has over 35 years of experience in the industry working within a variety of local, educational, regional, industrial, and professional theater settings. Bill’s attention to detail and ability to adapt to each and every client has helped to make TLS Productions, Inc. the successful company it is today.
Paul has been a theater technician in some capacity for the last 10 years and graduated from Siena Heights University in 2013 with a BA in Theater to continue that career. He has been working for TLSP on and off since 2014 while working on cruise ships and in other venues as a lighting technician. He now works for TLSP as an Audio & Lighting Technician and an ETC Service Technician. Paul loves his new wife Alison, and enjoys woodworking in his spare time.
Cameo Stancliff recently joined TLS Productions, Inc., and will be concentrating on driving sales outside of the auto industry. Over the last year she has focused on custom booth sales and management with Plus Studios, Inc., as well as consulting and assisting customer needs on large accounts in the Las Vegas area. Cameo has over 18 years of experience with the Freeman Companies, serving in roles such as Exhibitor Service Supervisor for Freeman’s Service Desk onsite, also running the overall in-house service department. She then moved in to Operations / Sales and assisted in creating the Freeman Rigging Department, where she worked first hand with venue engineers, submitting all necessary drawings. Cameo was also responsible during that time for managing labor budgets.
Adam has spent a lifetime working in theater, both on stage and off. He’s designed, operated, and installed a wide range of lighting, rigging, special effects, and temporary structures. He’s worked in schools, places of worship, bars and nightclubs, on film and TV shoots, stages and convention halls. Adam is a Columbus McKinnon and Stagemaker Certified Hoist Technician, and has completed Total Structures Outdoor Structures Class. He’s been managing the warehouse operations for TLS Productions, Inc. for the past 16 years. He also likes pie.
Melissa graduated from Eastern Michigan University in April of 2016 with a major in Entertainment Design & Technology, with a primary focus in lighting. She began working for TLS Productions, Inc. the following May as a shop technician. Melissa is also a part of the road crew for TLSP and travels with them to various cities. Aside from TLSP, Melissa works at Skyline High School as their lighting designer. She also freelances throughout Michigan.
Kayla is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she pursued a major in Music with a Theatre Arts minor. She has over 10 years of theatrical performance experience and has worked with several groups across SE Michigan. She has also stage-managed, music directed and conducted pit orchestras for several shows in the area. Kayla joined the TLS Productions, Inc. team in early 2017 as a shop technician in the cable department and is now the Administrative Assistant. In her free time she can usually be found karaoking, napping in her hammock, or roaming around Target.
